Steve Johnson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP), the trade association dedicated to providing quick and small commercial printers with knowledge, tools and resources for success. His responsibilities include management of volunteer leadership, strategic forecasting and implementation of the association’s plan of work and budget.

Since the merger of NAQP and NAPL, the premier trade association for excellence in graphic communications management Mr. Johnson’s responsibilities have expanded to include management of the NAPL Network Member Services and Professional Development departments. In his new role, Mr. Johnson will plan all membership marketing initiatives, be responsible for new member recruitment and retention and oversee the Professional Development programs to ensure creation and execution of program content based on members’ needs.

Mr. Johnson is a native of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. From 1995 to March of 2000, he served as the manager of industry activities for the American Hardware Manufacturers Association in Schaumburg, Illinois. From 1990 to 1995 he was executive director of the Home Center Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also has held positions with the National Retail Hardware Association and the Minnesota-Dakotas Retail Hardware Association. Johnson is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

Christina joined NAQP in 1998 in the thrust of a major organization change. She is currently responsible for membership recruitment and retention. She also administers the annual PrintImage Excellence Awards (PEA) competition, association awards and board of director nominations. Christina also works on NAQP Network, the association's newsletter. After attending Northeast Missouri State University, she worked at Argonne National Laboratory where she administered the graduate student and temporary employee programs. Steve Mills has over 20 years of experience in the printing industry. He has worked in production, training, and management through out his career. Specializing in prepress technology and changes in industry trends, Steve owns and operates SCM Consulting, where he provides recommendations, installations and training for the prepress issues.

Tammy is the new Programs Manager of the Professional Development Department of the NAPL Network and is based in the NAQP Des Plaines office. Tammy joins the staff from NAMI, the Alliance for the Mentally Ill where she was an Assistant Director. During her time at NAMI and in other comparable positions, Tammy coordinated all educational programs and symposia, led NAMI's two fundraising events, and has attained a broad experience in non-profit association management.
