Steve Johnson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP), the trade association dedicated to providing quick and small commercial printers with knowledge, tools and resources for success. His responsibilities include management of volunteer leadership, strategic forecasting and implementation of the association’s plan of work and budget.
Since the merger of NAQP and NAPL, the premier trade association for excellence in graphic communications management Mr. Johnson’s responsibilities have expanded to include management of the NAPL Network Member Services and Professional Development departments. In his new role, Mr. Johnson will plan all membership marketing initiatives, be responsible for new member recruitment and retention and oversee the Professional Development programs to ensure creation and execution of program content based on members’ needs.
Mr. Johnson is a native of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. From 1995 to March of 2000, he served as the manager of industry activities for the American Hardware Manufacturers Association in Schaumburg, Illinois. From 1990 to 1995 he was executive director of the Home Center Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also has held positions with the National Retail Hardware Association and the Minnesota-Dakotas Retail Hardware Association. Johnson is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
